Resting across the base is a sculptural piece of driftwood — the main support element — carefully positioned to hold a stained‑glass panel securely. The driftwood is carved to create a custom seating channel, allowing the glass to nest naturally into the wood.

Curved branches rise from the base, forming an arch-like structure that adds movement and visual balance. Copper wire is woven through the branches and driftwood, tying the piece together while echoing the copper foil and solder lines found in stained‑glass work. This creates a subtle but intentional material connection between the base and the artwork it supports.

Smooth beach stones are arranged around the base, including a polished patterned stone that adds contrast and grounding weight. Each component is hand‑carved into the base using a Dremel, then set with igh‑strength epoxy for long-term stability.
